Alumnior is a program dedicated to the Alumni of the Louvain School of Engineering, aimed at structuring and accelerating their technological projects. Over six days, participants benefit from expert support.

A program structured over five key days

The program takes place over five days, each dedicated to an essential aspect of starting a startup.

  • Day 1 – April 3: Entrepreneurial Mindset

Understanding the difference between an entrepreneurial and managerial attitude is essential for success. This day will immerse you in the mindset of entrepreneurs, with inspiring testimonials from alumni who have taken the leap.

  • Day 2 – April 10: Customer & Problem Discovery

Before developing a solution, you must ensure that there is a real problem to solve. This session will help you challenge your market assumptions and identify the true needs of your customers.

  • Day 3 – April 24: Product Development & Product-Market Fit

Designing a product is not enough; it must meet market expectations. You will learn to build an effective roadmap by applying the "Lean Startup" approach and testing iterations on your MVP.

  • Day 4 – May 15: Marketing in the Digital Age

A good idea does not sell itself. On this day, you will discover the best strategies and digital tools to promote your startup and attract your first customers. You will also explore the impact of AI in modern marketing.

  • Day 5 – May 28: Financial plan, pitch & fundraising

To convince investors and ensure the viability of your project, it is crucial to have a solid financial plan. You will learn how to structure a convincing dossier and present it before a panel of investors.

  • Day 6 – June 12: Project impact analysis
An entrepreneurial project is not limited to its economic viability. This session will allow you to identify the social, environmental, and economic impacts of your solution, and explore concrete tools to measure, value, and integrate them into your strategy.

Who is it for?

The program is reserved for Alumni of the École Polytechnique de Louvain. It is aimed at engineers who already have some technical and managerial experience and wish to structure and accelerate their entrepreneurial project.

Projects must have a technological character and be more advanced than just the idea stage. Participants are expected to have already worked on a prototype or conducted market validation through interviews, contacts, or other forms of experimentation.

A minimum capacity is planned for participants who are not alumni: only a few spots may be opened to them, subject to availability and after project evaluation.

Registration

Participation is free but subject to selection: applications will be evaluated based on the quality of the project and motivation.
