GRD Workshop – 4P Medicine and Technological Innovation
Organized at the initiative of GRD in partnership with OpenHub, this workshop highlighted concrete initiatives around 4P medicine: Predictive, Personalized, Participatory, and Preventive.
Various interventions have allowed for the intersection of academic, technical, and methodological perspectives on public health and biomedical innovation issues:
- Arthur Pisvin a présenté le rôle de l’OpenHub dans les écosystèmes d’innovation globaux.
- Prof. Benoît Macq a introduit les coalitions apprenantes comme levier d’implication des parties prenantes dans les soins du futur.
- Dani Manjah a exploré les potentialités de l’intelligence artificielle dans la production personnalisée de médicaments.
- Jérôme Leclère a partagé les avancées d’un projet basé sur l’utilisation de jumeaux numériques pour mieux accompagner le vieillissement.
The session concluded with a visit to the prototyping spaces of the OpenHub and an informal exchange over lunch.
BIR&D Workshop – University and Industry: Towards Concrete Actions
In the afternoon, OpenHub hosted the strategic workshop of BIR&D, the association of large industrial companies active in R&D in Belgium. The goal? To move from intention to action regarding university-industry collaboration.
Gathered around an updated charter and a SMART action plan, the participants worked in thematic workshops on three axes:
- Stimulate and enrich research talents
- Encourage trust-based interactions among stakeholders
- Accelerate the valorization of collaborative research
This workshop marks an important step in the structuring of academic and industrial collaborations in Belgium, and confirms the role of the OpenHub where ideas, expertise, and technologies come together to give birth to concrete solutions.
OpenHub, a field of action for impactful innovations
Through these two events, OpenHub reaffirms its mission: to support project leaders, institutions, and businesses in the rapid realization of innovative ideas at the intersection of research and experimentation.
We thank all the speakers, partners, and participants for their trust.
