After several weeks of working on issues proposed by partner companies, the students present the results of their work in a series of short pitches.

Schedule

The goal is to best adhere to the following schedule to allow everyone to enjoy the full menu or choose their projects à la carte!

15h15 - Muse:

15h25 - CPBourg: This project aims to modernize the interface of C.P. Bourg finishing printing machines to make it clearer, safer, and more intuitive for operators. After a phase of usage analysis, the team designed touchscreen prototypes tailored to production constraints and the actual needs of the field.

15h35 - Parasensor: aims to facilitate the collection of home data in neuroscience by optimizing the number, placement, and type of sensors needed to record the activity of patients who have or have not suffered a stroke. Using data collected during various tasks (lying down, sitting, standing, walking...), the project trains an activity classifier and analyzes its accuracy as the number of sensors is reduced, allowing for the elimination of redundant sensors while maintaining comparable performance.

15h45 - EMEIS: Despite existing precautions, Emeis nursing homes continue to face the risk of falls among residents. This project has allowed for the training of a statistical machine learning model on historical data to predict the likelihood of a resident falling in the next three months, with good reliability results, with the aim of integrating it into a future medical monitoring dashboard.

15h55 - Align: This project aims to create a fully local decision-support tool capable of analyzing confidential documents to identify the stakes, actors, and strategic power dynamics. It simulates various possible scenarios and provides a clear and justified report to inform human decision-making.

16h05 - Hydratation Break 

16h15 - Knee Surgery: This project offers a tool that allows surgeons to practice implant placement in a realistic, cost-effective, and reproducible environment. By providing hands-on practice before the operating room, it helps young surgeons gain confidence and precision, benefiting patients.

16h25 - AMPI: This project aims to develop a cost-effective manufacturing strategy for customized waffle makers by evaluating alternative materials and additive manufacturing technologies. It studies the technical and economic feasibility of these processes to enable flexible production in small batches while adhering to food safety and performance requirements.

16h35 - Dupuis: The goal is a prototype combining hardware, electronics, computer vision, and artificial intelligence to automatically digitize and organize large quantities of comic books. It transforms a repetitive task for humans into a complete pipeline, capable of converting physical books into structured digital data.

16h45 - The Monkey Brain Project: This project has enabled the design of a low-cost 3D-printed brain mold capable of holding multiple brain slices for simultaneous MRI acquisition. By allowing all slices to be imaged in a single session rather than individually, the device reduces scanning time and experimental costs while remaining easy to reproduce.

16h55 - Drone Teaching Kit: This is a portable educational kit that introduces programming, robotics, and electronics through drone piloting. Inspired by Scratch, it allows users to program a drone using intuitive block coding, providing everyone with an accessible first entry point into the world of computing.
